Gmail – an iOS App is updated with options to save and insert attachments from Drive
If you are one among those who often check their Gmail from iPhone or iPad, then here’s good news that Google has made bit easier to retrieve the files and save the new files on Google Drive. Once you open the email, you can quickly tap on the paper clip icon to append or attach new files that must be sent through the email. The file can be added by selecting the option ‘Insert from Drive’. Once you decide with the document or file that must be sent, you can directly tap on the arrow icon placed at the top right side in the application. On other side, the App is even enhanced with a new feature that lets you save any attachment or file to your Google Drive account and this can be done simply by tapping on the icon that is visible above the attachment icon. Both the saving and inserting of attachments features are already available for the Android users from May, though Google has stopped the facility to insert files earlier this month. But it’s great news for all iOS users that Google has added back the same functionality.
